place is dedicated to the Tamil poet Thiruvalluvar who is believed to be lived before
2000 years. His collection of poetry is called Thirukurral. All the poems of
him have been inscribed on the bas-relief, in front of the corridor.

style of statues. All the credit goes to Pallavas kings (who reigned the kingdom
in the period between 8-9 century.) They are the pillars behind these outstanding
monuments. During summer foreigners would flock to the place. There sea that is
